Yup as you've read, VoCollision is looking for an experienced Vocal Percussionist=). If you can do a mean vocal percussion, possess a good tenor/baritone singing voice, and have strong music-learning ability, we want YOU to join us on our musical journey. So what's up next for VoCollision?
We're taking part in the Open Category of this year's National A Cappella Championships! This is probably one of the biggest must-see event in the acappella scene every year, and this year's gonna be a little different as a Semi-final Round (26th July) has been added. The Final Round (29th July) would be held at the Esplanade Recital Studio instead of the usual Concourse area. Do come and support us!
With the growing A Cappella scene in Singapore, the competition gets more exciting each year. We're definitely looking forward to meeting fellow A Cappella folks at the Championships=). And well, that also means we'd better get into the groove of intensive practices soon=P.
As for our next public gig, Danny (from Budak Pantai), has kindly invited VoCollision to perform at the BlueMoo Cafe. A nice rooftop cafe to chill out and catch a good set each month! Big thanks to Chingmei for recommending us=). This gig will fall on one of the fridays in September. We'll keep uall in the loop when the date draws nearer.
